Another item that I have been able to check out from MeasuPro is this Digital thermometer that is not only a instant read with a wide measuring range of -58 degrees Fahrenheit to 572 degrees Fahrenheit. It is also waterproof and can be cleaned in the dishwasher. With not only fast reads and high precision and accuracy the built-in calibration will ensure that you have the most reliable readings at all times.

I love to use this on smaller or multiple pieces. That I am cooking, or baking. With the simple click of the buttons you can have the device set and ready to use in no time. Not to mention with the larger LCD you know the temperature of the food in a blink of the eye. Which I love because all day reading the computer screen can get my eyes super tired by the time I am cooking dinner and when I usually need the thermometer to use.

Once again this is a great device to get for the cook in the family or the BBQer. Even a new home gift for the student to couple getting married. I say that because who like dried chicken or over cooked anything. Knowing the internal temperature is the simple to check and makes for a better meal or treat in the end.

✔Thermometer Operation

1. Press the POWER button to turn on the thermometer.
2. The unit will automatically turn off after 10 minutes if no buttons are pressed.
3. Insert the stainless steel probe tot he desired depth.
4. The measured temperature will be shown on the LCD for 6 seconds.

✔To Select Celsius or Fahrenheit

• Press the C/F button

✔Using Max/Min

1. The Max/Min button cycles between the HIGHEST temperature, LOWEST temperature, and the NORMAL display.
2. Pressing CLEAR on any of these screens will erase that temperature from memory.

FYI: When the power is turned off, the Max/Min are supposed to reset, but they do not.

✔Calibration

1. Press and hold CAL button for 2 seconds. The display will show 0 degrees.
2. Press the CAL button again to adjust the offset temperature range.
3. Press the Power button to confirm the offset temperature change.
4. If no key is pressed for 5 seconds it will return to normal display.
5. if there is erratic behavior then press the Reset button.

✔Extendable Handle

• Place thermometer clip at a 90 degree angle at the top of the thermometer. [I have uploaded an image of this.]

✔Battery Installation

1. Replace the battery when the low battery icon and LO flash.
2. Replace with one 2032 button cell battery.
3. Use a screwdriver of suitable size to open the battery cover not he the back.
4. .Install the battery observing the correct polarity. Close the battery cover.
