This is the brush that I use on my nieces hair and the reason I got it. She has a normal hair thickness and on a normal day is pretty darn straight if not a slight wavy due to it being braided.

The color on this is super nice and the construction as not been a problem at all. Nothing falling apart or needing to be fixed. The bristles are a silicon plastic but soft in its own right. Nothing sharp or head hurting at all. Ranging from short to mid-level and tall bristles that is the trick of getting the knots and tangles out in the first place.

When using it I find that if the hair is to thick it will not work right. You either need to use

this brush is average/normal hair or something lower then that. Mine if super thick with tons of wavy and curly and it barely mad a dent in my hair. Breaking it down to smaller bunches the brush will work but I am in much of a rush by the time I get to my hair and brushing it.

Getting back to it on the right kind of hair it does the job yes there are still pulls and tangles here and there on your first pull through but with each one it gets easier and easier at a much sooner pace then you would have by any other brush. Which is a perfect thing, when you have a wiggly child wanting to run about.

Overall great for normal/average hair and lower even if they have some curl and wave to it but anything beyond that you are going to want to break the hair in bunches or get a different brush.
