Much like the exercising straps that many people have been seen stretching with at the gym or on videos. These bands are a bit different allowing a much more safer work out then one would have with the open straps. For one thing possible flying distance if popped or flung off during a work out is shorter. Since the band can not stretch as far as a strap the kick back is not as bad or forced.
The bands also allows you to improve muscle tone in arms, legs, back and buttocks with the weight of your own body. Its basically a all in one work out minus having to lug around weights, since the weight you carry is the force that will be used during the work out. I really like to use these during my Pilates and yoga videos. Or when I feel I just need a good stretching session to loosen up the body.
Not to forget with the bands you can practically work out anywhere. If you have enough room and your bands then you have a gym. Which carrying them is similar to that of a change purse or wallet so many purses or bags more then big enough to fit them. Even having them in the car or at work could get you to want to work out more then you would expect.
