From my understanding both the CD and the MP3 is just one continuous track that runs for about 60 minutes. There are areas of the track that I feel are more angry and not so soothing but once they start I feel and hear them move to the next. I do hope that they did not artificially create the waves sounds. That they were recorded right off of the shore.
I like to use this during the days that are still. I do live a short distance from the shore of a lake and most heavy winded days I can hear the crashing of waves. Especially when everyone is quiet and the world is dark or just becoming light. So on the days that are still and quiet having this to turn on and meditate to or play in the background while napping.
