I really am glad to have these especially for my niece who seems to ruin anything like a cup possible. Whether it is a glass or plastic it some how gets a crack in it or ruined in some form or another. With these she can take them by the pool or on other hard surfaces and I do not cringe as much if she happens to knock it over or it slips threw her fingers (stories I bet we have all heard from kids).

However, it is not just kids that I like these for. We have all seen or know of that rowdy person at a party can be during a pool party or just a normal cook out. That seems to get distracted and there goes the glass to the ground and shattering. If not for stopping that ear ringing sound alone these are perfect,

You can use them pretty much anywhere, and place them in or on just about anything whether you need a cup of hot water (microwave) or need to clean it (dishwasher) maybe even want to use it chilled (freezer safe). Not to mention because they are made out of silicone they can bend or shape around items that would be harder or stronger.

I certainly recommend these for the party host that you know or that new mother. There are so many other uses that I have not found that I bet they will in matter of minutes. On another note I suggest letting the cups breathe a bit and reading the papers included on first wash and what not.
