Since this is my first dog I have not tried many products. This was my first deodorizing spray for her. I liked the scent, it was subtle and almost as if it reminded me of just the smell of the breeze outside. So that right there I would have likes something of flowers or freshness, but I also understand that nothing to strong would work much like a deodorant that a human uses.

Now as for the reaction from the dog, she was a bit scared I think that is due to her not understanding what was going on. However, once I got her sprayed and let her go she wanted to rub and scratch in the main areas that were sprayed. I have to admit it was a bit funny to see it, but once she was satisfied and was close enough to pet she was soft and her coat looked shiny.

I would say this is a nice gift for someone who is making a first dog basket for a friend or a family member. But I really do not use it as much as I thought I would because I rather give her a bath. However, this is great for in between bathing your pup especially if you do not get tons of rain in your area. Or if you travel with them a lot and would like them to smell a bit fresher then normal.
