Grooming your pet no matter the length of hair is a must. Not only does it make them look beautiful and well taken care of but it also helps maintain their body temperature by eliminating extra hair that can linger and get matted and gross on there hair and fur. This brush is a great one to have in your back pocket (so to speak) to get the job done.

This brush is not made of plastic and does not just want to fall apart. It is made of a thick wood as a handle and metal bristles. Which make for great de-tangling and a nice scratching action that my puppy just loved! It is made for both dogs and cats and I have both but my kitty ran whenever I tried to get it out and use it on her.

The size of the brush is also nice it is not some small flimsy brush that your pet is doing to destroy in one or two bites or knocks on to the floor. The most my puppy has tried to do is run away with it to chew on it but as long as I keep an eye on her and the brush nothing happens. Except her sad eyes wanting me to brush her more. This brush also comes with a free electronic book (ebook) on grooming tips for your pets. So for $10 dollars that is a great deal.

I would recommend this to anyone with a pet and if you are a new pet owner especially.
