These are some very interesting lights. First there super light and on this green wire so if you plan to add them to a small pine tree around the Holiday season they would blend perfectly of even another plant of the sort. They have 8 settings and ranging from Flashing and twinkling to Staying Still and Off. It does require you to insert batteries (3 AA) but they last over 14 days with built in 6 hours ON and 18
hours off timer. There are 30 small lights on 10 feet of wire with 4 inches of space in between each light.

I love that I am able to use these for photos with models because they do not get super hot fast. You can position them on someones skin and take a few
photos and move them to work with a lighting problem (especially with the wire). They do say they work indoor and outdoor and with being submersed in water. I have yet to test this, I do plan on using them in all conditions once I get a chance to set up for the holidays.

I do recommend these to photographers and people who would like to experiment with picture taking at night or in darker areas. I also recommend these to those who have small plants or use for a battery operated string of lights. I have to stress the fact that you should not leave them out in hazardous conditions.
