Applied a little different then what was said on package. Since it was later at night and all the oils of the day were still on my face I used a wiped my face with a cloth and rubbing alcohol. Then continued to apply evenly over face and neck with finger tips. I let it dry completely to my touch of hand and even a little longer because I was watching Revenge on ABC.
While applying the scent of the masque was yummy enough to want to eat it right out the package. Though it looked more like something that would be in my nieces' diaper when she was a baby. The color was a milk chocolate brown and dried to a slightly lighter color of it. While it is first applied mine was slightly chilly which was nice to my skin. Though as it dries and hardens you can feel your face tighten up a little by little.
After washing the masque away my face felt nice and smooth but nothing any more special then clean my face in the morning or night. Though my skin usually starts to flake on my nose and it still has not done anything of the kind.
I would suggest that if your face is really, super dry that you should give it a try. Especially for the price it could not hurt any at all. However, if your skin is not dry by any means there is not really any reason to do it, but if you have a T-Zone problem or just areas then I would suggest to use it only on those areas.
If this is not something that you need to use there are many different masque that you could
try from peel-offs to clay and anti-stress to cooling. If looking at Wal-Mart search the facial area, or on the cap sides before heading down a isle.
