This is certainly one of the better silicone mats out there. It has many wonderful tips and conversions that are helpful while baking or cooking. It helps knowing that there is one place that you can find everything that you would need. Plus, you do not have to worry about your hands being covered in butter or flour. Nor do you need to worry about a computer/tablet/ or phone getting ruined.

I love that right on the mat is a basic recipe for sugar cookies and one for pie dough. With the sugar cookie dough I can add in my own treats and what not to make them my own. Plus, with the pie dough you can use it for either sweet or savory pies. Heck, you could make the pie dough and use it for just about anything that your mind would allow.

Looking close on the edges of the mat you can also see the measurements in inches and centimeters. This can help with cutting dough at certain lengths. Making a weaved top crust for that delicious pie during the holiday. Just about anything that you would need to measure it is there to accomplish.

First looks and thoughts is I love that they have rulers on the sides. Because that not only helps with having to space cookies and such so much easier. But if I were needing to cut a certain length of dough I would not have to worry about finding a tape measure with my hands already covered in flour or dough. Plus, it makes for an easy clean up space with out having so much around to clutter space. Other first impression was that BakeitFun mat was thicker then I would have thought. Making me less stressed about it ripping or getting torn and then becoming useless.

I know almost everyone has baked cookies at one point in their lives and struggled with the 1 to 2 inches apart direction. Well this BakeitFun Mat there are no more worries like I stated above you could use the rulers on all the sides to find the perfect spot. However, BakeitFun has gone one step further and has marked the baking mat with circles just the right amount apart to make the most perfect cookies whether they are chocolate chip or meringue. You could even try your hand at macarons or Parmesan cheese crisps, because nothing sticks and placement is always key.

BakeitFun has made this baking mat out of silicone able to resist temperatures from -40°F to 450°F, meaning you can take the baking mat out of the freezer, straight to the microwave or oven. It is also reinforced with fiberglass mesh covered by premium food grade silicone to provide outstanding heat distribution giving you the best results every time. 

Kids can even help more with this baking mat. I know I would struggle to get my niece to place the cookies in the right areas. So we did not end up with one massive cookie. Now I know she can and will place the cookies in just the right spots every time. I honestly believe and recommend this to everyone who cooks and bakes or wants to get in to cooking and baking. It just makes for a simple clean up for one but it helps more then you would think with the measurements on the sides and the circle marks for placement of food.
