My first purchase ever of KleanColor Nail Lacquer
When I first had seen this color I just could not get it out of my head. Which is not like me at all. Usually I will forget something much like a nail color or even the specific name of it if I believe it is nothing I could see myself wearing like EVER!
First aspect that drew me in to purchasing was the Holographic aspect of the flecks of glitter inside. Mine you I am not a glitzy everything is rainbows and gum drops type of person but I do like a little glitter. To me it represents a fun flirtiness.
Secondly, it was the dark looking base. Which when looking at it you could not tell that it was more of a smokey black (Black but clear enough to see the base nail color if there is one). Those are my main reasons to purchasing this particular item.
Third it takes a while for it to dry and seems pretty tacky at a time where other nail polish brands seem to be dry and none tacky.
However, there are a few things that I had wished I had known before hand.
1. It dries to a matte like finish which, that would be easily fixed with a glossy top coat depending on how you like your nails.
2. That it was not a true black base but a opaque black.
Would these things have stopped me from purchasing more then likely no. Would it have been great to know at first yes, but to tell the truth I could have searched for a youtube video or found a better swatch online of it if I were that worried to start with.
Overall I love it with and with out a glossy top coat (knowing that matte is in fashion and spring up everywhere). I would still purchase it to this day, and also by shopping on amazon I was able to save 49 cents which is not bad at all.
