Apple slicers or cutters either way you say it is great to have. This one separates the apple in to 8 pieces that is great for snacking and pre-cutting for baking and such. But I have to say that if you were to use this in a pre-cutting for pies or cake even other baking needs you would still end up using a knife at some point.
I would have liked it to be more then 8 even 10 would be better. I also would suggest that you would still want to pre-cut any fruit that is given to children at a certain age. But that is
This cutter/slicer is also good for other fruits and veggies that keep seeds near the core like apples. It would also be great use on like rounded and sphere foods that holds together well. In a pinch it could make a fun shaped sandwich for the little one who is picky about crust.
Simple to clean being made out of the stainless steel can be tossed in to the dish washer or washed by hand in seconds. With the comfort handles nothing is going to stop you from having to wash this product because you are going to want to use this all the time for that healthy snack for you or a child you love.
