Julienne vegetables I use to think of it as a thing of the past but, with this tool you do not just use it to remove the skin of vegetables and fruits that was not wanted to ingest. You are capable to use one side and remove all the needed skin or flesh in whole portions. While with a flip you can cut precise or close to precise bits of fruits and veggies using the built-in guard for shredded or julienne cut.
This tool makes it simple no matter what everything comes out just the same thickness. If I use the peeler side, whatever I have been peeling or dragging across this device may need a slice of a knife here and there but the get close to the same size. Making all of it cook at about the same rate as the rest.
Same goes with the Julienned veggies and fruits they just need to be tossed in to whatever you are making that was the reason to julienne in the first place. Making it all look beautiful. Not to mention all the various colors that could be used from all the various veggies and fruits out there.
