I find that this book and story to be quite interesting. I have to admit however, I had a problem with the name of the characters and keeping their stories apart as did my niece who read the book along with me. There were also a few areas that seem to draw on with details and a few I wish that there had been more to. Now that is finished, let me move on to what I liked more.
This story certainly does not stop you from getting wrapped in from the start. With a bit of sibling rivalry anyone who has grown up with a brother or sister around the same age knows the feeling of one being the more dominate one over another being more protective. While still being willing to be there for them and devoted to them in there own way for as long as the other lives.
Another fun point is the animals in the story are very verbal. Talking and also complaining on there own woes and problem with each other. It shows much of the familiarity from the animal kingdom to those of the humans that take care of them. I find that children love this aspect the most interesting.
Not forgetting the real reason you would love to read it being the MAD SCIENTIST! Bring in the science portion of this story. Making children that read this story interested in the sciences and technologies of today and tomorrow.
It really is a action packed story of family, robot-napping (like kidnapping), and will they find it, will Winslow win the big game and so much more. Oh! and it all has to be fixed before Monday!
I cannot wait to see what else he brings to this brother and sister duo. Because it seems like whatever they come across in nothing they cannot handle in one way or another.
I received this product for free in exchange for my own personal thoughts and opinions.
