This is a good thing to have because if you want to save different things to different HDD then you can change the color to which ever it is. Like Blue for pictures and yellow for videos and so on and so forth. I also had a bit of a problem opening it, I think it is just because it is not use to the whole open and closing part but at least you know that it fits nice and snugly. I also appreciated that it was not the slippery plastic on the outside it has some texture to it so that you can get a nice grip on it. I do have to stress that you do not get a HDD with this you have to supply that yourself. This is just an enclosure to hold a HDD or a great an simple way to store one.
