AYL has made a wonderful flashlight. Made of weather resistant anodized aluminum body of industrial and military grade materials and design. It features a magnetic base that can be stuck on any metallic surface. With 3 different light options first click turns on the Cree forward facing light. The second click turns off the Cree forward lights and turns on the 18 white LED lights along the barrel of the flashlight. Next, the third click turns off the LED along the barrel and turns on the 11 red blinking LEDs around the face and barrel of the flashlight. All these are ran on 3 AAA batteries that are inserted through the base of the flashlight where the magnet is located.
AYL has a very nice flashlight here. It is great for working on a car or in a power outage. I like that the magnet can stick to the hood of a car or on another metal object allowing for you to be able to check the engine or find something that you may need in the dark. Which also makes it a great gift for your grease monkey that takes care of your wheels or yourself if you maintain your own car.
Another feature that I appreciate and love its the 11 red LED blinking lights. Especially with hoe bad the weather has been these last few years having something this handy to notify those driving by or near that someone is there or help is needed is wonderful. Or just to notify someone that you may need help with a flat tire. It is just a great way to stand out.
The only item that I have had a problem with is after I inserted the batteries as directed. I went to replace the bottom of the flashlight and it seems to never truly get tight. It feels as if it is stripped and continues to just turn and turn. That makes me worry about whether or not it is on and working to work right. But that is the only problem I have had.
Other then that it lights up a average room good enough that you do not need to worry about tripping over items or not being able to find something that you need. During a power outage you could read just find, or entertain a child with board games or activities that would need light for seeing what your doing.
