This little gadget is so awesome not only does it looks like a camera lens but it stirs with a small flick of a switch on the side. All this is ran by 2 AAA batteries that are installed at the bottom of the cup an secured with a twist cap. I love the look of this cup for many reason, One being I am in love with photography. Being able to freeze that moment and look back after years and still feel the emotion behind it or relive it. Two it is a replica if one of the (what I believe to be) used and popular lens out there.
So yes I would recommend this for that photographer in your family or even if you have a photographer student in college having this in a care package would be super neat and know your thinking of them.
