I know that in my area we smoke the area at night in help that it keeps the bugs levels down and being that were off the lake less then a mile it can get kind of bad. So coming across these sticks is a god send. Each stick last about 45 minutes depending on wind and weather but it is also more safe then the candles being that there is no flame to worry about.
The scent is earthy and safe. Being that the scents are essential oils and naturally non-toxic. Certainly the scent of the thyme for me over takes the other scent of citronella but you can tell it is there every now and then if the smoke is moving just right.
