This water gun is a great size for kids and adults. Now don't get me wrong when I was a lot younger the rage toy especially for summer time was the super soaker. So this is me comparing basically this water gun to that water gun. One thing that I would really like to stress is make sure that all your pieces are there for you. make sure to look inside the tank for the tube that connects from the actual gun part to the tank for your water supply. If this piece is missing then you're going to be out of luck and basically have a squirt gun that isn't going to do much.
Once you have all the pieces there really isn't much to putting it together. The most problem I had was attaching the white tube onto the black male part of the gun in order to supply water. However with a little squeezing and bending the white tube attached nicely to the piece and was ready to use. Just make sure while screwing the tank on that you're not loosening the white tube as well.
Other than that it has a nice amount of power behind it still want to allow kids or others to shoot each other in the face or tender areas. But it still should have fun no matter who is allowed to use it or the temperature it is outside. So fill it up and going out grab a few and make a game out of it.
