"Cookies with a bit of attitude!" I thought once I got this book that all I would see is sweet and delicious cookies on every page. Nope, these were cookies of both sweet and savory. Not to mention in your face with flavors that you may have never thought to try or been a bit afraid to.
The book is beautifully made as well. First it starts off with the brilliant hardcover and dust jacket. Then you open to jump off the page photos of each recipe and on the opposite side an easy to follow recipe. However, that is not just it they give you some information in the first few pages on baking cookies and freezing them. Helping that newbie or not so new and not so expert. Which is where I am in the line of baking.
This would be a wonderful gift for that baker or someone getting in to baking. With a little of everything and combinations that would make jaw drop. This could be that secret little helper we all could use.
